FLEXFORM

Flexform is a family story. Founded in 1959 by the Galimberti brothers in Meda, within the furniture-making district of Brianza, the company has grown into one of Italy’s most respected design brands. Now in its third generation, Flexform remains rooted in the same region where the Made in Italy design movement took shape in the 1960s.

The Galimberti brothers began with a small artisan workshop, Flexform di Galimberti, crafting sofas and armchairs that soon furnished Milanese apartments, Lake Como villas, and even the foyer of Teatro alla Scala. By the 1970s, Flexform started collaborating with Antonio Citterio, whose vision helped define the brand’s modern identity. Over the decades, it has continued to work with leading designers while maintaining its commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
